Just as in previous seasons, Lorenzo Savadori remains the test rider for Aprilia in MotoGP. He was, in fact, the first to ride the new 2024 RS-GP, which left him with a clear sense of progress.
Regarding his winter break, the Italian said in the team launch event: ‘It was good. I trained a lot with my RSV5 on track to arrive ready for racing and to start the season in a good way’.
Savadori also commented on the new bike, showing his enthusiasm with it: ‘It was good. I want to say thank you to Aprilia because this RS-GP 2024 is a step forward compared to the old one and I want to say thank you to Massimo [Rivola, CEO], to Romano [Albesiano, technical director], to all the mechanics, engineers and also to the race department because we did a good step forward’.
