Francesco Bagnaia’s continuity with Ducati in MotoGP until 2026 has been confirmed. This seals the first position in Borgo Panigale’s lineup, in a renewal that was highly anticipated.
The rider was crowned world champion in 2022 and 2023, entering the new season as the top contender for the title. His debut was in 2019 with, moving to the factory team in 2021 with immediate success: he was the runner-up right away that year, securing his first race wins.
Currently, the Bagnaia/Desmosedici GP duo is one of the strongest on the grid. This was once again demonstrated during the pre-season tests, where the rider was the fastest both in Sepang and Losail. Very encouraging signs for the season starting next weekend in Qatar.
