Marc Márquez signed a contract with Gresini only for the 2024 MotoGP season. Given his status, it is believed to be just a transitional year before eventually returning to a factory team – such as Ducati, for example.
However, Carlo Pernat believes that might not be the case. The rider manager told MOW Mag that it’s not out of the question for the Spaniard to remain with Gresini in 2025:
– Marc Márquez could choose to stay where he is. Of course, his ambition is to move up to the official Ducati team, but nowhere is it written that he’s only passing through at Gresini. He’s won everything there is to win, so if he goes to the official Ducati team, great. If not, who’s forcing him to do it?
