Casey Stoner was the first ever to give Ducati a world championship title in MotoGP and also made history with Honda, which led him to be recognised as a powerhouse in the category and he himself believes he could have actually done more.
Speaking to Motociclismo.it and quoted on Motosan, the australian was asked about what made him more proud of on his career, and replied saying he could have done more, admitting to have made some mistakes:
– I always think I could have achieved more and I think there were situations where I could have done a better job, but I’m happy with what I did. I could have made better decisions, but every mistake I made I learned something that came in handy when I could do what nobody else could do which was to win races and championships making everybody happy, that was the best feeling for me.
The year of 2012 marked the end of Stoner’s career as a full time MotoGP rider, then with Honda, just one year after he became world champion.
