The Gillette Stadium in Foxborough hosted another round of the AMA Supercross this Saturday. With the season nearing its end, the main category, 450SX, is heating up after Cooper Webb’s victory. In 250SX East, Haiden Deegan took the win.
Webb (Monster Energy Star Yamaha) left no chances for his opponents in the 450SX class. The rider grabbed the holeshot and led from start to finish of the main race. In the end, he crossed the finish line with a 1.098s lead over Chase Sexton (Red Bull KTM).
The margin was never greater than 2.4s, but Webb managed to control the race, and with this victory, he reached 261 points equaling the championship leader, Jett Lawrence. The Team Honda RC rider was in the battle for the top five, finishing in fifth place.
In addition to Webb and Sexton, who finished second, the podium also featured Ken Roczen (Progressive Insurance Ecstar Suzuki) in third. The fourth place went to Jason Anderson (Kawasaki).
Also in the 250SX East class, the winner dominated the main race. Deegan (Monster Energy Star Yamaha) grabbed the holeshot and never relinquished the lead, crossing the finish line with a 4.159s lead over Cameron Mcadoo (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki).
Tom Vialle (Red Bull KTM) couldn’t keep up with the top two riders, finishing third more than 13 seconds behind the winner. Pierce Brown (Troy Lee Designs Red Bull GasGas) was fourth, and Max Anstie (FirePower Honda) concluded in fifth.
