The weekend in Jerez was full of surprises and excitement. Marc Márquez took his first pole position with the Ducati, however in the Sprint there were around 15 crashes, including the Spanish Gresini Racing MotoGP™ rider when he was leading the race. Finally, Marc ended Sunday’s race with a great performance, in second position.
Speaking to GPOne, Carlo Pernat talked about the course of events over the weekend.
– ‘ Great Grand Prix! Pecco Bagnaia said to Marc Márquez.I’m number one! A great race, perhaps the best of Pecco’s career, who broke the record at the end against a very strong Márquez, a phenomenon who tried by all means to pass him. Only today Bagnaia didn’t care about anything, he must have often thought ‘I’m the king’.
