Maverick Viñales finished the Sprint race of the French MotoGP Grand Prix where he started, in third place. He just couldn’t beat Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) and Marc Márquez (Gresini/Ducati), intervening in the fight against the Ducatis.
The Spanish Aprilia rider stated to the official broadcast: ‘It has been a fantastic race, thank you so much! […]. It has been a difficult race to be honest, I expected much more pace, but now we need to check in the garage’.
Nevertheless, Viñales liked the result and performance, as he said: ‘However, third place is amazing, battling against the Ducati squad. So I was happy to be there and learning a lot for tomorrow, trying to fight in the front’.
Finally, the rider addressed the fans in Le Mans: ‘I hope you enjoyed a lot the Sprint race and let’s see if tomorrow we can do a better race. So, let’s go!’.
