As it is known, Marc Márquez will join Gresini Racing in the upcoming MotoGP season, where he will have the opportunity to ride the Ducati, which is considered the strongest bike of the moment.
Asked if the six-time champion can fight for the title on a Desmosedici GP right from the first year, Álex Márquez showed some caution, although he had no doubts about his brother’s competitiveness from the beginning:
– It’s too early to say that. Normally, if we see the historial of other Ducati riders, when they arrived they were quite easy to adapt to that bike – also in my case. But he was riding the same bike for the last 11 years, so for sure he has many things that he needs to change. But he has an incredible talent, he will be fast from the first moment. But later on, to fight for a championship and this it’s too early, step by step. We still have all the winter in front, all the preseason, so we will see how is everything. But for me personally it will something really good also to increase my level and to learn from the best rider on the grid.
