Pol Espargaró spoke to DAZN about Marc Márquez’s impressive performance over the weekend at Le Mans.
The KTM test rider and DAZN commentator praised Marc and talked about how different he is from his Ducati rivals.
– What can I say about Marc? Marc has that explosiveness, that innate talent. Maybe he’s the one who has the hardest time at the start of the weekend because of his lack of experience, that’s why he goes from less to more, and on Sundays that’s when he gets the best result, and when he has the hardest time that Friday, that passage to Q2, although then, obviously, he shows a much higher speed than the riders who have passed through Q1.
He added: ‘But he had to pass (Q1) because he didn’t have the ability to get everything right due to his lack of experience, perhaps also in preparing the bike for the circuits where he is new. So all the riders have a slightly different essence to the others, but in the end they are riders with so much talent, so much ambition, that it’s logical that we’re going to see a very tight championship right to the end and we’re all going to enjoy it.
