Joan Mir arrives at the Catalunya GP in 18th place in the MotoGP world championship. The former world champion continues to struggle to perform well on his Repsol Honda.
The Spanish rider has recently been linked to rumors that he may join the TrackHouse Racing team, as the team manager is Davide Brivio. Brivio was Joan Mir’s team manager at Suzuki and both won the MotoGP world championship in 2020 for the Japanese manufacturer and, with the recent performances of the American team’s riders and both without guaranteed contracts for 2025, it would be a good opportunity for Mir and Brivio to meet again.
However, we arrive at the Catalunya GP with Joan Mir excited about riding in front of his fans and the progress made in the last two races.
– “I’m excited to be back in front of the home fans, it’s always a busy weekend for us drivers, but we enjoy it no matter what. We came here on a positive note, our final result in France wasn’t what we wanted, but in the last two races we managed to make good progress over the weekend. This is what I want to maintain, improve and get the most out of our set-up. Let’s have a good weekend and put on a good show for all the fans!”
