The Moto2 rider market rumors continue, with Collin Veijer now being linked as a potential candidate for the intermediate class in 2025, specifically with the Red Bull KTM Ajo team.
Veijer is already connected to the Pierer Mobility Group, as he competes for Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP in Moto3. As is well known, Husqvarna is part of the same Austrian conglomerate as KTM.
According to SPEEDWEEK.com, Aki Ajo is working to finalize an agreement with Veijer. The Dutch rider, in turn, knows that he will not be able to continue with his current team – at least not in its current form, as the Husqvarna brand will be withdrawn at the end of this season.
Veijer also shares the Red Bull sponsor with Ajo, which could boost the potential contract. Currently, he is in fourth place in the Moto3 World Championship, having achieved five podiums in the last seven races. He is 68 points behind the leader, David Alonso (CFMOTO Aspar), but only 15 points behind the second place of Iván Ortolá (MT Helmets-MSi/KTM).
