This MotoGP championship is being super competitive and many seem to believe that the title decision will last until the very last GP, in Valencia. As for Aleix Espargaro, he believes the main pursuer – Jorge Martin – should already be leading with a lot of points.
The spaniard spoke of his compatriot and how there is being a lot of pressure being put on him, and that it is also taking a toll on him: ‘I see him well. I also tell you that I have seen that he has had a lot of pressure in these three races and that they have been complicated for him. He arrived quite tired after the last Grand Prix on a mental level, so I think this disconnection has gone very well for him. In Bali he can recharge his batteries, he has trained very well. He has played one-on-one a lot with my kids’.
Espargaro also believes that Martin should have already be on the lead, on not by just a couple of points: ‘For me he is doing superb, a ten, he should be 40 points ahead’.
