The future of Prima Pramac Racing in MotoGP seems increasingly aligned with Yamaha. The Italian press has already reported the agreement as finalized, and statements from Álex Rins on the eve of the Dutch GP further suggest that Yamaha will have a satellite team again in 2025.
The official MotoGP website asked the Spanish rider about his view on the recent movements in the rider market. Rins replied:
– It was interesting, let’s say, because there will be many changes for next year. Also maybe in a few hours, a few days, someone is announcing two more factory bikes on the grid. So it’s going to be a good thing for us. Like this we can grow and we can improve better our bike.
Although Rins’ statements do not explicitly mention Pramac, they imply that these two additional factory bikes will be Yamaha – considering that is the manufacturer he represents. Now, we must wait for further developments on the matter, which is also a crucial factor in defining the rider market.
