Honda and Yamaha had two days of private testing this week, then benefiting from the concessions granted in MotoGP, where their riders were on track in Mugello. The fastest was Álex Rins.
On the circuit that will host the next Italian GP, from the 31st of may to the 2nd of june (before that there is also the Catalan GP), Yamaha was on the track with Rins, Fabio Quartararo and Cal Crutchlow, with the Briton riding in just one of days, according to Motosan reports. Honda will have ridden with Joan Mir, Luca Marini, Taakaki Nakagami, Johann Zarco, and was only testing for one day, yesterday.
The fastest on the track was Rins with a time of 1:45:931s, with the Spaniard being the only one to run within 45 seconds, while Quartararo was second with his best lap being recorded in 1:46:280s . Crutchlow was eighth, and last on the timesheets.
Although it was a test, the differences in the times recorded by the M1 were significant, with Nakagami being the fastest. Mir ran in 1:47:041s, with Zarco just behind and Marini, second to last with a lap in 1:47:330s.
In addition to the two manufacturers, Aprilia, with Lorenzo Savadori, was on the track, with the #32 running in 1:48:121s.
