Ready to make his return now at Valencia in the last GP of the season and the last with the Honda, Alex Rins is sorry the season is coming to an end at a time he is feeling better than in the past few months. Winner last year at Ricardo Tormo circuit with Suzuki, this is far from being his current goal.
With regards to his return to racing, Rins said he feels a lot better now: ‘It’s a pity that the season is coming to an end, because I feel much better than I did a month ago. I was riding in Montmeló and the truth is that I felt pretty good. I didn’t have the pain I had in the race in Mandalika and Australia. So I felt quite good, considering that it is a road bike, which runs much less and accelerates much less than a MotoGP bike’.
He then recalled last season race, where he win with the GSX-RR, in what was the last race of Suzuki in MotoGP:
– I have a lot of memories of last year and the victory we had, and we are far from that. We are far from winning. So we will go out on track, we will check the physical condition. The goal is a little bit to finish the weekend. See how I feel on the bike and finish.
