Last weekend, Álex Rins had to miss the MotoGP British Grand Prix due to pain in his right hand, which he injured in a fall during the Dutch GP in June.
The Spanish rider from Monster Energy Yamaha aims to return to action next week at the Austrian GP. This week, he was at the Circuit de Osona in Spain for a private training session with a mini-bike.
Rins also did swimming training in Andorra. This approach is part of his efforts to consolidate his recovery from physical issues, as he has been either affected or sidelined in the last three Grand Prix events.
It’s worth noting that just over a week ago, Yamaha announced the extension of Rins’ contract, meaning he will remain with the team until the end of the 2026 season.
