The next generation of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio will be 100% electric and is expected to arrive in 2025, one year before the Giulia follows the path of electrification.
The two new electric models from Alfa Romeo will be based on the 800V STLA Large platform, which according to Stellantis may allow accelerations from 0 to 100 km/h in about 2 seconds.
Everything points to the fact that the new 100% electric models from Alfa Romeo will be equipped with active stabilizer bars. In addition, they will make use of Stellantis’ new STLA Brain architecture, which promises to bring a significant update of technological offerings on board.
Alfa Romeo has announced that this new architecture will allow for greater flexibility of dynamic character, with real-time customization possible using artificial intelligence. In addition, the two models will receive periodic software updates “over the air.”
Alfa Romeo CEO Jean-Phillipe Imparato has already revealed that the new electric models will continue to focus on the driver, maintaining a more conservative approach to digital offerings in the cabin. Therefore, they will continue to feature the traditional telescopic instrument panel, although they will now be equipped with a larger infotainment screen.
It is worth noting that Alfa Romeo has already announced that it will be a 100% electric brand from 2027.
