At the moment, MotoGP has three riders starting to stand out from the rest – Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) who leads, second-place Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), and Marc Márquez (Gresini/Ducati) in third place.
Fourth place Enea Bastianini (Ducati) returned to the podium at last weekend’s Italian GP, but even so, he is already 22 points behind Márquez immediately ahead of him after seven rounds. Andrea Dovizioso believes that the three-way battle will continue.
The former Italian rider analyzed the championship fight in statements to MotoGP.com: ‘It has been very exciting, because in every race they have a similar bike, so they can fight really at the maximum in every race. There isn’t a lot of ups and downs, and that’s really nice’.
In Dovizioso’s view, the front trio will keep the fight going until the end of the season: ‘They are really three different kind of riders, even with different ages and different bikes. Everything can happen, we are speaking about a big talent and a champion. It will be nice until the end for sure’.
