The National Road Safety Authority (ANSR) launched a new alert this Tuesday for the dissemination of fraudulent emails sent on behalf of this entity.
In a statement, ANSR states that it has identified the dissemination of “fraudulent emails sent on behalf of this Authority, notifying individuals of a traffic violation and indicating a link to access the document related to the violation.”
However, according to ANSR, this is a phishing attempt – a technique used to gain access to personal information – so the Authority asks that individuals “do not access the link in these emails or make any payments”, and reminds that “all notifications are sent by mail.”
