Jorge Martin was the winner of the MotoGP San Marino GP. The Prima Pramac rider had already been strongest in qualifying and the sprint race, and he repeated this on sunday in the main race – where his main rivals were once again Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team/Ducati) and Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati).
The spaniard said in his interview with the official broadcast that it was a hard race, in which he attacked above all when he found the margin to do so:
– Thanks to all the people who helped me do this, because we worked hard. We’re putting in a lot of hours to improve myself, the team too, the bike. Today, in front of Marco and Bagnaia, it was going to be very difficult and that’s how it was. I tried to stay at the front every lap, only closing the pace a little when they were closer. As soon as I saw some space, I started pushing hard, with everything I had. In the end I had this small margin to keep with Marco. I attacked a lot, but finally winning here in Italy in front of the italians I think is good. I’m happy and focused on the next one.
