Álex Márquez was one Enea Bastianini away from taking two MotoGP victories in Malaysia, and only the Italian was able to prevent that. That’s why the Gresini rider congratulated his opponent, accepted his victory and showed his desire to keep up his high performance until the end of the year.
Here’s #73’s reaction to the MotoGP microphones in park ferme:
– I tried, I tried everything I had in my pocket and physically I’m at the limit now, I can’t talk much but I’m very grateful to the team for the whole weekend we did. They gave me the perfect bike, they deserved the win today but Enea [Bastianini] was better than us and we have to accept that and improve for the future but the level we’re at now is very good and we have to maintain it until Valencia.
