The Bellagio Fountains are stealing the spotlight during the Super Bowl in Las Vegas. This Sunday, CBS will broadcast Super Bowl LVIII featuring the 49ers and Chiefs, and they couldn’t have chosen a better location in Sin City for their set. The Bellagio Fountains have been exclusively reserved for the event, and it’s truly amazing to witness the fusion of this historic landmark with NFL action. The set in Vegas is not only visually stunning, but the backdrop of the fountains and water, along with the view of the restaurants, creates an absolutely breathtaking scene.
When it comes to finding the perfect spot for the NFL and its broadcasting partners to take over, there was simply no other area on the strip that made as much sense as the Bellagio. While the Wynn or the Venetian might have been potential options, they just don’t compare to the Bellagio and its iconic fountains. When you think of the heart of the strip, two things immediately come to mind: the Bellagio Fountains and Caesars Palace.
Caesars Palace is an extraordinary resort and hotel, offering a plethora of dining and shopping options. However, the Bellagio Fountains have a singular purpose – to put on a show. The area is absolutely stunning, especially during the magical hours of dawn and dusk. I had the opportunity to experience it from an elevated position at night a few years ago when I rode the high roller, and it was truly a mesmerizing sight.
Now, as we approach the Super Bowl, the NFL and CBS have taken up residence at the Bellagio. The scenes outside of the Bellagio for the Super Bowl are nothing short of incredible. It’s safe to say that we can expect a plethora of amazing content coming out of Vegas during this time, and I, for one, am eagerly anticipating soaking it all up.
