Benelli surprises the two-wheel market with the launch of the updated version of its iconic Imperiale 400. This model, which has won fans for its urban versatility and retro aesthetics, now receives a set of improvements that promise to elevate the riding experience.
Adaptation to New Environmental Standards
Faced with demanding Euro5 emission standards, Benelli made careful adjustments to the Imperiale 400’s engine. The 374cc single-cylinder powerplant maintains its essence but now benefits from an optimized exhaust system and refined electronic injection calibration. These modifications result in an impressive fuel consumption of just 3.1 liters per 100 kilometers, without compromising performance.
Enhanced Aesthetics
The new Imperiale 400 displays a refreshed look, featuring an elegant silver embossed Benelli logo on the fuel tank. The tank’s side pads present a renewed texture, while the emblems on the side covers have been redesigned, adding a touch of modernity to the bike’s classic style.
Focus on Safety and Comfort
The Italian brand has not neglected practical aspects. The Imperiale 400 debuts new Maxxis Promaxx tires, with dimensions of 100/90-19 at the front and 130/80-18 at the rear. This change aims to significantly improve grip and stability, especially in wet road conditions.
The steel double-cradle tubular frame and conventional suspensions remain, ensuring the classic character and comfort characteristic of the model. Braking is provided by a 300mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear, with two-piston and single-piston calipers, respectively.
