Bentley has decided to adopt a new style for the Bentayga S, which will now feature a Black Edition, marking the first time in the 105-year history of the Crewe-based company that the brand’s logo wings are presented in black.
The new look of the British brand’s SUV includes chromatic details in seven colors: Mandarin, Signal Yellow, Klein Blue, Pillar Box Red, Ice, Hyper Green, and Beluga, contrasting with the black body.
The chosen detail color takes the form of a laser-effect stripe placed on the bumpers, side skirts, the contour on the rear wing, and the diffuser.
The interior includes Beluga leather with contrasting stitching, piping, and an embroidered ‘S’ emblem on the seats. There is also a new carbon fiber trim on the dashboard and center console. Bentley has also added a new Dark Chrome package, as standard, which includes metallic details.
The Bentayga S Black Edition is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine producing 542 hp and 770 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 290 km/h.
In addition to this version, a plug-in hybrid variant is also available, equipped with a 3.0-liter gasoline V6 engine producing 456 hp and an electric motor-generator with 134 hp, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 254 km/h.
The luxury SUV is also equipped with four-wheel electronic steering and a sport suspension. There is also the Bentley Dynamic Ride system that can develop up to 1300 Nm in three tenths of a second to neutralize lateral rotation forces.
The Sport driving mode has also been improved, allowing for increased response in curves and a 15% increase in the damping of the pneumatic suspension to reduce body roll.
The Bentayga S Black Edition is also equipped with exclusive 22’’ wheels, finished in black.
