Bentley continues to bet on presenting special editions, and the latest is the Apex version, which promises to be the most dynamic Bentayga.
Based on the Bentayga S and with a special edition limited to 20 units, the Apex Edition is equipped with 22” carbon fiber wheels from Mulliner, developed in collaboration with Bucci Composites. The British brand revealed that these wheels are more resistant than normal wheels, and allow to reduce unsprung mass by 24 kg, providing greater agility to the SUV, as well as improved braking performance.
In addition, the braking system is equipped with carbon-ceramic discs, allowing to reduce the weight of the Bentayga by 20 kg compared to the standard version. This special Apex edition is also equipped with a sports exhaust system, four-wheel steering, and anti-roll control system.
In terms of engine, this special and limited Apex version is equipped with the well-known 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 550 hp and 770 Nm of maximum torque, allowing to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, and reach a top speed of 290 km/h.
The exterior design is marked by six distinct themes, all with stripes that run along the entire body, carbon fiber details, including spoilers, mirror covers, and pillar emblems, along with a black stripe that runs along the entire body.In addition, a new color combination is available for owners of the highly limited Le Mans Edition Continental GT and GTC, created in 2023 to mark the 20th anniversary of Bentley’s sixth victory at the La Sarthe circuit, who can specify the Bentayga Apex Edition with Verdant green paint matching the Moonbeam Le Mans style. The interior matches the Le Mans Edition Continental GT, with Beluga leather and Dinamica fabric seats. The monochromatic color scheme of the interior is highlighted by the contrasting stitching on the seats and Hotspur seat belts. The steering wheel, covered in leather and Dinamica, also features contrasting stitching in Hotspur.
