A new Kawasaki ZX-10RR sports bike from Bimota could well be hitting the roads in 2025, following the surprise announcement that the Rimini brand will partner with the Japanese powerhouse for the 2025 WSBK season.
At the end of April, Kawasaki confirmed that the KRT factory team would be leaving WSBK at the end of this season, with the “green” brand returning in 2025 with a new machine using a Bimota frame and a ZX-10RR engine.
This is possible due to the fact that the Japanese brand owns a 49.9% stake in the Italian company, with Bimota using Kawasaki engines in all its current road and off-road enduro models.
Although not much is known about this new competition model, the rules laid down by the FIM suggest that a road bike will also have to accompany this model in order to compete.
