Brad Binder was one of the main figures in today’s MotoGP Sprint race at Barcelona after finishing in the fourth position. The KTM rider, who once again proved to be super strong mostly in racing conditions considered this to be a ‘tricky race’, where it was crucial to stay calm and it was easy to get carried away… and make a mistake.
The south african spoke about the race, as the podium was under his grasp… but maybe not so much: ‘I gave everything I had from lap one to the end and when the podium is that close then you dig that extra bit deeper but I had a lot of understeer and had to be careful not to mess it all up’.
In a team statement the #33 recalled how complicated this race was, saying it was super easy to make a mistake:‘It was a tricky race to manage because you get excited about the possibilities but you also need to stay calm and ride to the limit’.
Despite that, the KTM star is already looking for this sunday’s race and even goes to consider that the results may improve if he gets to set everything right: ‘I feel like we got everything from today and with just a couple of tweaks for tomorrow then we’ll be ready to try again’.
