If there’s one rider currently in the paddock who has left most lovers and riders themselves “shocked”, it’s Pedro Acosta, who took his first MotoGP podium yesterday in his second round. To achieve this result, the rookie overtook Brad Binder, who didn’t shy away from praising him.
Speaking about the Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 rider, Binder was full of praise: ‘I tell you… when he passed me he was riding it. He’s really special and when you see him ride you see how good he is, the way he controls the bike, how he comes out of corners and picks up the bike, it’s class. I take my hat off to him, he deserves it’.
The #33 already sees great potential in the 19-year-old, and admits that he will help the Mattighofen manufacturer grow: ‘I think one of my biggest blessings as a rider is that I’ve always had teammates who have always pushed me, I’ve always had good teammates and you can look at it as a blessing or a curse but it’s always been good for me. I think together we can keep pushing and try to take this project forward’.
