The Caramulo Museum has announced that it will be in Aveiro to proceed with certifications of vehicles of historical interest on November 4th, followed by Castelo Branco, Lisbon, and Porto on November 11th. Any owner of a classic vehicle can join this process by simply making their online appointment.
On November 18th, it will be the turn of Algarve, Aveiro, Braga, and Guimarães, while on November 25th, certification will take place in Bragança, Vila Real, and again in Lisbon.
It should be noted that according to Decree-Law 144/2017, all vehicles over 30 years old that are certified by the Caramulo Museum as Vehicles of Historical Interest are exempt from the Mandatory Periodic Inspection (IPO).
In addition, all vehicles manufactured after 1981 up to the age of 30 are also eligible for the exemption from the Vehicle Tax (IUC).
