SEAT has decided to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Ibiza, the brand’s most iconic model, with a limited edition called “Anniversary”.
The Ibiza, an iconic model of SEAT, has sold over six million units since 1984 and across five generations. The first generation was the first vehicle developed by the brand without the support of a technological partner, relying on internal expertise and collaboration with partners such as Giorgetto Giugiaro for the exterior design, Karmann for the interior design, and Porsche for the engine.
To celebrate the 40-year success story of this popular model, SEAT has launched an anniversary edition, the “Anniversary Limited Edition”, featuring an exclusive Graphene Grey exterior color for the body and Cosmo Grey shade for the 18″ alloy wheels, complemented by a special logo laser-engraved on the B-pillar.
In the interior, the highlights include Bucket fabric seats, Dark aluminum details on the doors and console, and the anniversary logo laser-engraved on the door sills.
The Martorell plant has not revealed details about the engine of this special edition, but it is expected to use the well-known 1.0 TSI three-cylinder engine with 110 hp.
SEAT has already announced that the special anniversary edition of the Ibiza A will be available starting from the second quarter of 2024.
