Days after the surprise of Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari in 2025, Formula 1 may be on the verge of another shock. Christian Horner, team principal of Red Bull for several years, is under internal investigation for ‘inappropriate behavior’.
The specific allegations are not disclosed. The British, who has held the position at Red Bull since its creation in 2005, responded in a statement to De Telegraaf newspaper, stating: ‘I completely deny these allegations’.
Meanwhile, the website PlanetF1.com quotes a statement from Red Bull regarding the matter: ‘After becoming aware of certain recent allegations, the company has launched an independent investigation. This ongoing process is being carried out by an external specialist lawyer. The company takes these matters extremely seriously and the investigation will be completed as soon as practically possible. It would not be appropriate to comment further at this time’.
