Case closed. Christian Horner will continue to be the team principal of Red Bull in Formula 1, having been cleared of allegations of misconduct that he was targeted with a few weeks ago.
An independent investigation was conducted, and the results have now been announced in a statement quoted by the Associated Press: ‘The independent investigation into the complaints made against Mr. Horner is complete, and Red Bull can confirm that the allegation has been dismissed. The complainant has the right to appeal. Red Bull is confident that the investigation was fair, rigorous, and impartial’.
The details remain confidential as they contain ‘private information of the parties and third parties’. With Horner cleared, this weekend at the Bahrain GP, Red Bull can return to normality in the new season, where they will defend last year’s titles with the same pair of drivers – three-time champion Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez.
