The final calendar for the 2024 Formula E season has been revealed after approval by the FIA World Council this Wednesday. The big news compared to what was already known is the inclusion of Misano, making its debut as the host of the Italian round after the discontinuation of the Rome street circuit.
Misano will host two rounds on April 13th and 14th. Also making its debut, as previously announced, will be Shanghai, marking the return of the electric single-seater championship to China. The season will start on January 13th in Mexico City, at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
It is worth mentioning that, for the first time in a regular season, there will be a permanent circuit – Misano. In 2021, the Autódromo Miguel E. Abed in Mexico and the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia were temporary solutions in the context of the pandemic.
With the addition of a double-header in Portland, there will be 17 races throughout the 2024 Formula E season, making it the longest calendar ever. In addition to Portland and Misano, there will also be double-headers in Diriyah, Berlin, Shanghai, and London.
