Trackhouse Racing is set to become Aprilia’s satellite team in MotoGP for 2024, but this collaboration might not necessarily be limited to the premier category.
Moto.it suggests that it would be plausible to consider a joint participation in AMA MotoAmerica at this point. The Noale brand is already present in the Supersport class with the RS 660.
Therefore, a potential partnership with Trackhouse Racing would be somewhat plausible, or at least more likely than in the World Superbike Championship (WSBK).
Why? It all comes down to homologation requirements. Currently, the Aprilia bike that would be most suitable for the championship is the 1,100cc RSV4, but regulations only allow a maximum of 999cc.
On the other hand, it might not be in Trackhouse Racing’s interest to compete in the WSBK. The calendar is heavily based in Europe and has not featured a round in the United States of America for several years.
