The first 100% electric car from Cupra is available in Portugal with the e-Boost option, a technology that guarantees an increase in power to 231 hp, with an additional boost of +27 hp, available temporarily and only under pre-defined charging and temperature conditions, activating the Cupra driving program, or with the ‘kick-down’ (pressing the accelerator pedal to the floor).
The platform is the same MEB architecture for electric vehicles from the VW Group, shared with the ID.3, with the Born differing from it not only in terms of suspension firmness, but also by accelerating closer to the ground (15 mm on the front axle and 10 mm on the rear), in addition to a mode for ESC Sport traction control, making the electronics more permissive – with the optional 235/40 R20 tires, it will even be possible to turn it off.
