The Superbike World Championship is on an extended break before returning next week in Misano. Meanwhile, Danilo Petrucci attended a Ducati event in Indonesia, where he was able to reunite with a special bike.
The Italian, who recently suffered a dramatic motocross accident, was called by the Borgo Panigale manufacturer for the DRE program – where riders teach motorcycling tricks. The event took place in Mandalika.
On this occasion, Petrucci had the opportunity to see the Ducati Desmosedici GP20 – the bike with which he achieved his last MotoGP victory in the 2020 French GP. However, he did not ride it.
As known, the #9 left Ducati in 2021 and moved to Tech3, where he concluded his MotoGP career before going to MotoAmerica in 2022 and joining WSBK in 2023, again connected with Ducati.
