The 23XI Racing driver faced two consecutive DNFs. The streak of bad luck that has lasted 30 years seems to have further discouraged him. Furthermore, the difficulties faced by 23XI Racing in terms of performance only add to his frustration.
However, after his DNF at Dover International Speedway, the owner of 23XI Racing and also a NASCAR Cup Series driver came to his defense. On his podcast, The Action Detrimental, Hamlin expressed his belief that Wallace is one of the best NASCAR drivers and has consistently shown his readiness to compete at the forefront.
The 43-year-old experienced driver also acknowledged that the frustrations and misfortunes currently experienced by Bubba Wallace are a common occurrence for all drivers at some point in their careers. He emphasized that the highs and lows are simply part of racing and expressed confidence that the 23XI driver will soon bounce back.
During the NASCAR Cup Series Wurth 400 race at Dover, Bubba Wallace, driver of 23XI Racing, was spun out of the track in the final stage. Despite starting in 16th position and performing well, comfortably securing a spot in the top 10 during the second stage, his race came to an abrupt end when he collided and was spun out by another driver, with 72 laps remaining.
After the disappointing DNFs at Dover and Talladega, Wallace shared his thoughts on his recent races. The 30-year-old driver of the Toyota Camry XSE No. 23 expressed his desire to become a more mature driver now that he is 30 years old and will soon be a father. However, he also expressed immense disappointment in his team. The consecutive DNFs have had a major impact on 23XI Racing, but one thing is certain: Wallace will be more determined than ever to regain his form.
