On the roads, drivers often show a lack of knowledge on how to properly navigate a roundabout, and the GNR, aware of the situation, has now reminded drivers of the correct behavior to adopt when driving in roundabouts.
In this way, the GNR highlighted three points that drivers should pay attention to:
1 – Enter the roundabout after giving way to the vehicles already circulating in it, regardless of the lane they are using;
2 – If you intend to exit the roundabout at the first exit, you should occupy the right lane;
3 – If you intend to exit the roundabout through any of the other exits, you should only occupy the rightmost lane after passing the immediately previous exit lane to the one you intend to take, gradually approaching it and changing lanes after taking the necessary precautions.
To assist drivers, the GNR has also shared a video on social media that demonstrates the correct way to navigate a roundabout.
As a final note, it is important to remember to always use your turn signal when driving in roundabouts.
