Earlier this week, Fermín Aldeguer was announced by Ducati for MotoGP starting from 2025, in a factory contract for two years with an option for two more. However, he won’t be joining the official team right away.
The sporting director of the Borgo Panigale manufacturer, Mauro Grassilli, confirmed to the official MotoGP website that Aldeguer is expected to start with Pramac: ‘It would be Pramac Racing, we have an option with them about the future. If they take this option, they will have Fermín for the next two years’.
Currently, Pramac has Franco Morbidelli and Jorge Martín – both also linked to Ducati. In the case of the Spaniard, this will be his last year with the satellite team, as he is determined to represent a factory team – whether it be Ducati or another.
