Ducati Riding Experience registration for the 2024 season is now open. Enriching the lives of enthusiasts through unique and unforgettable emotions is the mission of Ducati, which, thanks to its experience-based program, offers motorcyclists from all over the world the opportunity to live dream days riding the models in the range in the most prestigious locations, guided by a team of excellent instructors that includes several MotoGP protagonists.
The DRE program was created in 2003 and over the last twenty years has welcomed more than 30,000 participants, combining excitement, fun and safety, constantly updating its content to meet the needs of every type of motorcyclist, and confirming that the Borgo Panigale manufacturer is a true point of reference in offering memorable experiences.
All the information and registration details for the 2024 events are available on the dedicated section of the Ducati.com website, which confirms the new features successfully introduced last season.
The DRE Road and DRE Rookie stages will take place at the Autodromo di Modena on the weekend of May 18-19. The two DRE Racetrack dates (which include the “One to One” programs) will be on June 18-19 and September 25-26 at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. The DRE Track Warm Up is scheduled for the weekend of September 14-15 at the Modena Autodrome.
The events already included in the calendar represent the first part of the DRE Academy offer for the 2024 season. The dates for DRE Adventure, the Ducati Experience designed for enthusiasts who want to improve their road and off-road riding skills and have fun at the controls of the Multistrada and DesertX, will be confirmed shortly, along with other novelties set to enrich the panorama of Ducati Riding Experiences in the coming months.
The DRE Track Warm Up offers a specific focus on motorcyclists who want to learn the basics of circuit riding. The format begins with a theoretical briefing by Technical Director Dario Marchetti, focusing on correct riding position, braking, acceleration and riding technique, after which participants will immediately move on to a series of exercises in the paddock. The subsequent on-track training is divided into five sessions, the first of which is a reconnaissance lap to familiarize them with the circuit, at the controls of one of the models supplied by DRE Road. The following four sessions are in turn carried out with the Panigale V2, the ideal Ducati for a track debut. An expert instructor will give advice before each session, followed by a dedicated briefing.
DRE Racetrack remains the benchmark for those who already have track riding experience, but want to hone their skills and experience the thrills of riding a Ducati on MotoGP circuits.
Learning, fun and adrenaline come together in the different courses, depending on the level of experience: Track Evo, Track Evo2 and Track Master. The Ducati Panigale family is the real protagonist of this program, with the Panigale V2 for the Track Evo courses, the Panigale V2 Bayliss 1st Championship 20th Anniversary for Track Evo2 and the Panigale V4 S for Track Master.
Track Master, in particular, also proposes its winning formula for the 2024 season, with experienced riders as instructors, the use of Action Cams and DDA data acquisition, and a ratio of two students for each instructor, in order to offer participants more complete and dedicated support.
The “One to One” courses, aimed at those looking for an exclusive experience from every point of view, are also planned within the DRE Racetrack dates. A direct relationship with the instructor, an individual position in the pit, Open Pit access and a debrief after each session guarantee a truly professional experience for drivers of all levels, on a day to be lived entirely in the spirit of one’s passion for the track.
The “One to One” modes designed for the most loyal Ducatisti include three proposals. By choosing the first one, enthusiasts will be able to experience an incredible day as an official rider at the controls of the Panigale V4 S. With the other two experiences, Ducati raises the bar even higher, offering an even more exclusive program that will allow you to experience a dream day riding the new Panigale V4 R, the most sophisticated and powerful supersport road bike in the world (240.5 hp at 15. 500 rpm, with rev limit). 500 rpm, with the limiter in sixth gear at 16,500 rpm), or the bike that embodies all the excellence of the Borgo Panigale brand’s engineering and cutting-edge technology: the Ducati Superleggera V4.
By taking part in these three experiences, participants can enjoy an educational session as passengers of a qualified DRE instructor, who will do a few laps of the track to indicate the correct trajectories to follow, braking and acceleration points and different riding techniques. The team of instructors includes professional drivers such as Michele Pirro, Karel Abraham, Alex De Angelis, Lorenzo Zanetti and Franco Battaini, coordinated by Technical Director Dario Marchetti.
The dates for the Modena Autodrome with DRE Road and DRE Rookie are also confirmed for the 2024 season. DRE Road is the riding course designed and developed for all types of motorcyclists: both for those looking to improve their riding level with the support of DRE instructors, and for all those wishing to test the technological features of the numerous models in the Ducati range available in the program (including some of the most anticipated new launches for 2024, such as the DesertX Rally and the Hypermotard 698 Mono).
DRE Rookie is exclusively dedicated to young riders aged 18 to 24 with an A2 license who ride limited motorcycles, with advanced instruction aimed at learning riding techniques that can help participants express their potential as motorcyclists.
