Ducati remains at the top of the MotoGP Constructors’ and Teams’ Championships after the Grand Prix of the Americas. However, its margin has narrowed with the results from Austin.
In the Teams’ Championship, the Ducati Lenovo Team is leading, being the first to surpass the century mark with 109 points. However, with the help of Maverick Viñales’ victories, Aprilia climbed from fourth to second place and is now just 14 points behind – before the Grand Prix of the Americas, this position was held by Prima Pramac, trailing Ducati by 16 points.
Red Bull KTM dropped to fourth place, now only ten points ahead of the Red Bull GasGas Tech3 satellite team. Gresini is in sixth place with 50 points, while Monster Energy Yamaha is eighth with 22 points. Below the Japanese manufacturers are Trackhouse Racing in ninth with 20 points, Repsol Honda and LCR Honda with seven points each.
As for the Constructors’ Championship, Ducati maintains its lead ahead of KTM, but the manufacturer from Mattighofen gained a point, reducing the gap to 20 points. Aprilia, in third, is trailing by 24 points, followed by Yamaha with 19 points accumulated. Honda is fifth and last, with the same eight points it had before Austin.
