Enea Bastianini was one of the riders who ended the season on a high after a rocky start that forced him to sit out for many months. Carlo Pernat, however, guarantees that the Italian’s motivation is at a very high level.
The Ducati factory rider’s manager said, quoted on A Tutto Sport, fro channel CusanoNews7 and quoted on MotoSprint, that ‘Bestia’ has had a very unlucky season, and guaranteed that in 2024 he’ll be in contention for the title… and with extra motivation: ‘Bastianini will be in contention for the world championship, he’s been very unlucky this year. Now he has an incredible rage inside him, this new bike that we tested in Valencia will help him a lot, it’s also better suited to his way of riding’.
Pernat has no doubt that the rider will not only be in the fight for the world championship, but will be one of the… favourites: ‘I expect Enea to be in the fight for the final victory, where there will be many other names, but he is one of the favourites to win the championship’.
Bastianini finished 2023 in 15th position with 84 points despite missing eight rounds.
