Lando Norris has accumulated a total of 37 points in the current Formula 1 season.
The McLaren star, mentioned in a report, confesses to being an overthinker and expresses dissatisfaction with his progress this year. Norris had a better start compared to the previous season, but his mistakes at crucial moments have left him disappointed.
During the Bahrain Grand Prix, the British driver finished in sixth place, and he secured eighth place during the Jeddah weekend. Despite being confident in his strategy during the Saudi Arabian GP, he retrospectively analyzed areas where he could have performed better.
Although Norris achieved a podium at the Australian GP, he dropped to fifth place during the Suzuka event, which affected his confidence due to inconsistent results.
This marks Norris’ sixth year with McLaren, and he firmly believes he can win a championship with the team in the coming years. Despite having several podium finishes, the British driver has yet to secure a victory in the Grand Prix.
The 24-year-old driver, Lando Norris, is confident in his ability to compete against his close friend, but he prefers not to be his teammate. Before the current season, Norris renewed his contract with McLaren.
Discussing why he believes he and Verstappen should not be teammates, Norris expressed the following opinion.
Norris achieved his first podium of the season at the Australian GP. However, since then, he has struggled to replicate that success, failing to secure a top-three position in his MCL38. With Formula 1 returning to China after five years, it will be intriguing to see how Norris compares to the Dutchman at the Shanghai International Racing Circuit.
