With the first part of the tests at Misano completed and Luca Marini (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) the fastest so far, two Italians were absent, Fabio Di Giannantonio (Gresini Racing) and Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team).
In the case of Bezzecchi, who finished second yesterday in the MotoGP race for the San Marino GP, the reason for his absence is likely to be the physical problems he’s been struggling with practically all weekend in one of his hands, something he mentioned on saturday and then the following day.
As for DiGia, the #49, who could be leaving MotoGP, yesterday complained of ‘severe pain’ in his left shoulder that even led him to consider pulling out of the race.
Both Bezzecchi and DiGia, however, have their teammates – Luca Marini and Alex Marquez – on track: Marini leads the session and A. Marquez is eighth.
