In need of making considerable progress, Monster Energy Yamaha has been using MotoGP Grand Prix events to work on bike development as well. This weekend’s French GP, where Fabio Quartararo competes at home, will be no exception.
The Frenchman said in a press conference that he will once again try solutions from the Jerez test during the Le Mans round: ‘We will try some things from the test. Of course is not a massive difference, but we will have some items from the test’.
Without solid expectations set for the French GP, Quartararo only made a promise: ‘The expectations are difficult to say, but we will give our best anyway’.
Asked to specify what material tested in Jerez will be on the bike, El Diablo clarified: ‘We’ll have the new chassis. Normally the swingarm was planned to be, but we will not try it here. We will have also a test in Mugello after the race, so we will test it there’.
