Who will replace Marc Márquez at Repsol Honda in 2024 in MotoGP? This is one of the most asked questions in recent weeks, and there is still no answer. Fermín Aldeguer is mentioned as one of the candidates, along with Fabio Di Giannantonio, but he has no concrete proposal.
This is what the current Moto2 rider assured MotoGP.com: ‘At the end the call is there, but I don’t have nothing on the table, any contract. But at the end Honda is looking for one rider for his place and maybe my name is one of those. But also with me are Di Giananntonio and more names. We have to wait and now my mind is here on Moto2, to continue with the progression and doing my best’.
Having said that, if the opportunity with Honda arises, Aldeguer believes that he will be ready to move up to MotoGP: ‘Yes, why not? But at the end I always think when I go to MotoGP I want to stay with experience to do my best. We have to wait and look for the best opportunity and the best place’.
