One of the biggest emerging stars in MotoGP, Fermín Aldeguer has a guaranteed place on the grid among the elite in 2025 but before making the climb, he watches closely what is happening from the outside and has a clear desire about who he would like to see as the winner.
In conversation with MotoSprint, Aldeguer did not shy away from revealing who his preference is to become the new world champion in 2024, with a name that has been in the spotlight this year and beyond, recently for not the best reasons: ‘Who will win the MotoGP title this year? It is hard to say. I hope it’s Jorge Martin, he’s a friend of mine and deserves it’.
Aldeguer recalled that Martín had been in the fight before, without success and well until the end. The Pramac Racing rider, interestingly, lost his lead on the leaderboard in the last round before the summer break, crashing at Sachsenring while leading the race:
– Last year he also fought until the end. Last year he also struggled until the last race. This year I see him much more solid, he has the mind of a champion.
