Francesco Bagnaia put an end to the misfortunes in Sprint races by winning this Saturday at the MotoGP Italian GP in Mugello. The Ducati rider took the lead right after the start and was never overtaken.
In an interview with the official broadcast, the 2022 and 2023 champion confessed that he faced some difficulties in the final laps: ‘It’s incredible. I enjoyed every single lap. The last part of the race was quite tough, but honestly, I really enjoyed, the bike is working perfectly’.
This victory comes after three Sprint races in which he had to retire for different reasons, and it’s also at home, and Bagnaia didn’t fail to express his satisfaction by stating:
– For tomorrow will be tough the same, but finishing a Sprint race is always good and it’s the first one after four Grand Prixs. So I’m very happy and winning again here is incredible, in front of all this crowd that is incredible. I’m in love with them.
