The Lenovo Race of Champions is taking place this Saturday in Misano, one of the highlights of the World Ducati Week. Fifteen riders associated with the Borgo Panigale manufacturer will compete against each other on the track.
This friendly event features all riders on identical bikes, the Panigale V4. There will be riders from MotoGP, World Superbike Championship, and also from the British Superbike Championship (BSB), Rory Skinner – some from independent teams and others from factory teams.
Andrea Iannone (Team GoEleven, WSBK) will start from pole position. Yesterday he surprised in qualifying by beating the two-times MotoGP world champion Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team, MotoGP) by just 0.050s.
