Brabus is always surprising and strives to stay one step ahead of the competition to maintain this character with its fans.
To do this, the German tuner announced the launch of the Rocket 1000, a four-door coupe with 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive, based on the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 SE Performance, with a limited production of only 25 units and a price of €450,000.
The new « missile » from Brabus combines a 4.5-liter V8 biturbo engine with 796 hp of power and a torque of 1250 Nm, which is combined with an electric motor of 204 hp and a torque of 320 Nm, allowing for a total power of 1000 hp and an impressive maximum torque of 1820 Nm, which is electronically limited to 1620 Nm, with the aim of protecting the 9-speed Speedshift MCT sports transmission.
These insane numbers allow the Rocket 100 to announce an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2.6 seconds and the ability to reach 300 km/h in just 23.9 seconds. The top speed, as expected, is electronically limited to 316 km/h. Brabus has announced that this asphalt « monster » has an electric mode range of up to 13 km.
The superlatives of this model also extend to the exterior, which features a carbon fiber front spoiler that transitions to the wide carbon fiber wheel arches.
Inspired by the design of the original 2006 Rocket, the hybrid supercar is also equipped with carbon fiber aerodynamic blades integrated around the generous air intakes of the spoiler to optimize the direction of airflow to the wheels, as well as to cool the front brakes.
Un autre élément essentiel de ce supercar est les jantes forgées Brabus Monoblock P, de 21’’ à l’avant et 22’’ à l’arrière, équipées de pneus haute performance SportContact 7 extrêmement larges fournis par Continental.
